AVA I EGO is committed to protecting the privacy of users of The Smart Save (TSS). Built upon a Local-First Architecture, TSS ensures that your data remains under your absolute control at all times.

1. Data Collection & Usage

Notes and content: stored strictly locally on your device.
Audio recordings (microphone): the RECORD_AUDIO permission is used solely for live voice note transcription (Wispr Thoughts) locally on your device. Audio recordings are never transmitted, uploaded, or shared with any external servers.
Video links for summarization: processed transiently over secure Cloudflare infrastructure to generate summaries and returned directly to your app without permanent server retention or user identification tracking.

2. Google Drive Integration & Scopes

TSS offers an optional feature to sync your Super Notes to your personal Google Drive account:

Authentication is governed via standard OAuth 2.0 protocols.
Access is strictly restricted to the app-created folder (drive.appdata / app-specific scope).
AVA I EGO has zero visibility, access, or control over your personal Google Drive storage.

3. Artificial Intelligence Processing

On-device processing uses TFLite vector embeddings for local classification.
Cloud-assisted hybrid AI summarization (via Gemini API, Claude, or DeepSeek) receives only the text needed for processing over encrypted connections.
Explicit guarantee: user data, notes, and audio transcripts are never used to train public or foundational AI models.

4. Security & Encryption

All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3 / HTTPS. Our API endpoints enforce strict server-side safeguards including HMAC validation, Basic Auth, and security headers.

5. Data Deletion Rights

Users maintain absolute ownership of their data. Deleting notes within the app permanently removes them from local storage and your synced Google Drive folder. Uninstalling the app completely purges all local data.
